About Me

My name is Patrick Balderramos, I am a San Francisco native. Soccer is my passion, and it has shaped me to be the person I am today. I have been playing competitive soccer since the age of five. Growing up with four brothers brought out the competitive nature in me, and has helped me to develop a strong work ethic. I have spent countless hours training to be the best soccer player I could be. Growing up I had the privilege of playing soccer at high levels with superior soccer players. While playing with my club team, Chivas Glens, I was also fortunate enough to play and travel with the 92' boys California State team. My Chivas Glens team was a close group, with loads of talent and years of chemistry. The years of work together brought us great success in class One youth soccer. We won numerous tournaments, as well as three state Championships. Knowing that we were the team to beat, made me want to work harder everyday. Not only did I put in the time to develop my skills on a day to day basis, but most of all I was having fun. I attended Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory high school in San Francisco. While at SHCP, I played 4 years of varsity soccer and made first team all-league in the WCAL for two consecutive years. After high school, I was accepted into a soccer academy. The soccer academy, R.I.A.S.A, is based in Leeds, England. While in Europe, I had the opportunity to travel and experience the game at a semi professional level. I finished up a year in the academy and came back to the states to play at the collegiate level. I attended City College of San Francisco for two years, then finished my soccer career at Notre Dame De Namur University. My goal is to develop kids confidence, coordination and technical skill, while having fun. Over the years of playing, I understand the patience and dedication it takes to develop the skills of an exceptional soccer player. Every day is a day to learn something new, while exercising what you already know. I want to bring out the best ability in each individual, and help use their passion for the game to create a hunger for success.
